Epee is a thrusting weapon, with full body target and no right of way to determine the priority of the touch. The "true duel", touches are scored solely on who hits their opponent first, or if both fencers score simultaneously, both fencers receive a point. Epee has a high emphasis on control, tactics and planning, ensuring the only one getting hit is your opponent!
